Hm..first post in the best part of a year!! Disgraceful. So post uni life is shaping up to be pretty damn wonderful! Very fortunately, the week following my university degree show I got a job on a local short film ( It's Cold Outside ), followed by thriller feature film ( The Holding ) then another short written by the lovely Deborah Haywood named 'Biatch'. Love it's name and such a great little story too. One day was particuarly enjoyable and I took this snap at a nice sunny moment just before wrapping.

Not quite sure how to summarise the past few months.. Think i'll just include some nice photos.

ohhhhh december 30th has been a lovely little day!! The alarms set off at 6.30am and me and tom hit the road, with milton keynes and it's faux snow ski slope in our sights!! Our destination... 'xscape' haha. lame name, and i couldn't quite get the pronounciation. nevertheless, we had the best fun ever and got all chilly and red nosed on the ski slope.

happy mo!! and then a nice trip to leicester with lots of laughs followed. and then indian takeaway AND london ink and toms fixed gear stuff turned up making everyone quite content.

My course is design for film and tv, so this week i am mostly storyboarding what goes down in my version of 'woman in black'. Hmm they look over exposed on here. Nevermind. I have new pens which are really fun and making uni work enjoyable to dooo!! :)

I am currently desperate to return to this hotel and indeed Austria in general. For 11 easters me, my family and a big group of friends, work colleagues, relatives have descended on this hotel ( for 6 consecutive years ) and others nearby and had the best times that at the moment i can't seem to shake from my head. Which is nice as I am eager to hang on to these very fond memories, but I am totally saddened that these holidays will literally never happen again. I took these family holidays for granted and though I had many tear tantrums, tired and cold and young, they were invaluable and lovely times. Austria is so wonderful and I have countless memories of everything I absorbed as a teenager and child. I loved the hotel rooms and their wooden ceilings and single pillows that were super thick, and how the hotels kind of scared me too. And the smell of suncream on my nose and my parents in their ski jackets and mums head bands. And my instructors and how much i thought they were the coolest people in the world because of their accents, tans and sunglasses! And skiing through a forest where i couldn't see another person so sang really loudly haha.

My grandpa passed away 11 years ago, and so i would have only been ten. Of course, old enough for ample memories of my grandpa. Amongst trips to the park in his maroon metro and birthday parties at my grandparents house, the underlying main memory is his use of his cameras. I wouldn't have taken much notice at the time of him taking photos of me, but i know he was a keen snapper. Fast forward 11 years and now i thoroughly enjoy taking photos, not that i am particualy skilled in this field i may add, but I feel to an extent that I am now passed on with the photo-geek-gene baton! Which i am very happy about. It never struck me until the last month to actually chase up what happened to his cameras. My uncle passed on my grandpa's camera bag and it is quite the gold mine. The bag includes an expired film from '94, unused. 2 flashes, another japanese camera, some books, cable releases etc. It's all very exciting. So I have put a film through it, and here is the result. Unfortunately grainy and underexposed in some cases, i think potentially a result of not having batteries in the camera which power the light sensor LED thingy. But I am still fond of these photos :)

Tuesday 15th of September and Frankie has had some pretty flowers slapped onto her thigh via Jamie Greaves! They are lovely.

Me and Tom raced up to Leeds one sunday morning to see diego and Tom got some more shading done on his arm. I got to meet Salvador who made me want a baby, right there and then! Cute doesn't quite do him justice :)

On August 13th Me and Frank headed to Essex for me to get some roses on my feet from tiny miss becca. It was fun and painful too, ( this photo captures the water retention that shortly followed, quite perfectly i feel... pregnant lady ankles! ). The shop was a beaut!! I'd like to go back one daayy.

My birthday was lovely, and of course, included nandos, AND a surprise of friends with party poppers and lambrini! I am spoilt rotten.

Along with other lovely presents i was lucky enough to get some more polaroids, which of course are so precious these days in this dying age of the little nippers! So i have 10 special shots to take and i thought me and Tom, pre birthday outing was a nice opportunity as he looked super nice!

I am having a wonderful summer break and turned 21 this week. Being back home is just as good as I had hoped it would be as the 2nd year at uni came to a close and i was super desperado to be back home and with my friends. I have been neglecting using slide film in my lca, and Tom generously coughed up some nice ektachrome film for me to use which came in very useful on my birthday week, due to being whisked away to Brighton for 3 nights, with not only Tom but my 2 best friends too :) happy days.. I really like some of the results, my favourites can be seen here, however i think in some cases the whole 'over saturation' 'high contrast' look is a bit O.T.T in this film. I think i will revert back to fuji's 400 slide offerings. Never the less, good fun trying out new films :)

This week i returned from morocco, africa after a 2 week surf trip with the society at uni. I had a wonderful time and took about 4 cameras and got some pictures i was really happy with by cross processing the slide film i used. shwing!!

Christmas eve was so sweet this year i got to hook up with old faces i'd not seen for too long and it made me really happy as i'd missed people.

christmas day was standard, turkey, family playing on wii, etc.

boxing day was lovely as i recieved a frickin lomo lca avec all the trimmings. holy shit i was good this year.

I've not written on my blog for forever and after just reading through the past years worth of entries i realise how funny they are to look back on and that i should keep using this, even if it feels like nonsense at the time, it's hilarious to look back on when you realise that various fashion choices you made really were wack, amongst of course other awful choices. To summarise the past 8 months: Nearly left university to pursue secret career desire - skiing instructing, but was talked around and am now loving university more than ever. went to thailand on my own, turned twenty and whitnessed a thai lady project objects varying from the live, ( gerbils and budgie ) and the very sharp ( mostly a dart ) from her very own lady parts. Meanwhile i have managed to find myself dating the cutest faced person i have ever layed my eyes on, who coincidently is everything i've liked in boys since i was 14, all rolled into one person. winner. AND it's christmas tomorow. hiya perfect life! But yes, i'm back on the blogging game and have discovered the 'follow blog' " gadget" as they call it so hardy, harkie and pugh you better believe i'm following yo asses. peace suckas !

Carbon and chemicals show in Nottingham was sweet as a bloody nut.

Yesterday was my 19th birthday and after spending a miserable afternoon in a warehouse at work my friends sure made up for it in the evening. I got spoilt rotten, you guys are incredible! Pass the parcel was genius thank you so so much.

This week i've been in newquay with my 4 best friends, it was pretty epic. This year we drove down in two cars which made car dancing and music syncronising quite fun, but my bladder let the side down and made everyone angry, sorry guys. Anyway we bought a pretty blazin tent, 12 birth for the 5 of us, and lived like kings until the rain came. I rocked the fisheye camera but as usual, I need to wait to get those developed so for now it's all about the polaroids. Thanks for the funniest week ever, monday night is going down in history.

From the 6th - 10th of June me and Frankie were at download it was the best few days ever. i rocked the fisheye camera mostly but have to wait for those to get developed, so bare with me fans! ( hope i got the right spelling of bare there ). Here's a cheeky taster..

We got to see some wicked bands and nearly lost our limbs watching korn. baaaastard.
Band highlights for me were gallows and enter shikari. Linkin Park was fun for nostalgic reasons, as was evanescence. All in all it was truly brilliant and i'm gutted it flew by so quick. Can't wait for fisheyes :)

FRIDAY 1ST JUNE

Me and the kids at college have worked hard to put together an art foundation final show and to congratulate ourselves and show our love and appreciation of lara ( as she is soon leaving us for america ), we all went out for dinner / mosh times on friday. it was amazing aha!

Mosh was amazing because the middle floor was full of nostalgic classics from year 10 and 11 etc. something corporate / finch / american hifi / the used / bowling for soup etc it was priceless :)

Lets start from the very beginning, a very good place to start. i've not drank since october, it was frankie's birthday, here's what happened!

We all hung at Lance's laavely appartment in the center of the shire, and drank some malibuuu. it wasn't long before it had an effect.
